Quality you can trace
Our controlled inspection formats are filled in on the shop floor in a digital quality management system, so every reading, approval and drawing revision is on record.
Incoming inspection
Raw material and bought-out parts are checked against specification on receipt, by critical, major and minor characteristics.
In-process inspection
First-off approval and periodic checks on every machine and shift, by operator and inspector.
Final inspection
Dimensional and visual inspection before dispatch, approved by a supervisor.
Daily production
Planned vs produced, accepted, rejected and rework, with running and down time per machine.
Out-of-spec is caught at the machine
- Readings are checked against the drawing tolerance as they are entered, and anything outside turns red immediately.
- Visual checks are recorded as OK / NOT OK, with photos of any defect.
- Every entry is time-stamped and saved under the person who made it; edits are logged.
- Supervisors approve inspection reports before dispatch.
- Reports come out in our controlled formats, ready to share with customers.
Drawing control
Approved customer drawings, controlled by revision and date.
Tool control
Every tool tracked with its tool life and re-grinding frequency.
Machine records
Every machine with its own history card and records.
Traceability
Lot, machine, shift, operator and inspector on every report.
